SEO – An essential tool to drive traffic to your website

You might have put in the maximum efforts possible when it comes to your company website, but even then your efforts might totally go for naught. SEO or search engine optimization happens to be one of those tools which help your website get those high search rankings. This increases the number of visitors to your company’s website.

      What’s SEO actually?

Before you get into anything else, it’s important for you to understand what exactly SEO is. This’ll help you use it effectively for your company’s website. Whenever you enter a particular query in a search engine and hit “enter”, then you see a list of web results that’ll come up and these contain the term you had typed in the search engine box. Now, it’s a common tendency among users to visit those websites that come right on top of the search engine results. 7 Important Things for Digital Marketers

Digital marketing is evolving and the changes that are happening with digital marketing are being implemented at light speed.  If organizations take weeks of Power Points to get the ball rolling they just might find that what they wanted to do is outdated requiring them to start all over again.  There is no doubt that it’s a challenging environment but this one of the reasons why I love digital marketing so much.  Here are 7 things that every marketer should know about digital marketing…
1ne: Google has changed how they rank sites.

Digital Marketing Update – Penguin and Panda for Marketers

There has been a LOT of comment on the recent Google algorithm changes following the Penguin update and Panda tweaks in April. As with most things, people generally only speak out when they have a problem so it would be easy to assume these updates were a negative thing for your website. Wrong! It’s perhaps had one of the biggest impacts we’ve seen for a while from a Google update but that was entirely its intention, to begin stamping out the sort of black hat tactics that boost poor quality sites above those who choose a more ethical approach.
Penguin and Panda. What’s the difference?
The Panda update is the newest of the two and it looks specifically at the quality of your links. For the marketers out there who don’t know what this means; links to your website are good and give the impression that other web users like your content enough to point to it via a link on their site/blog/comment etc thus indicating high quality.
